Those curves are actually a ‘pre state’ when doing callygraphy, to warm up the hand to get the feeling for quill, paper and ink, and to ‘free’ your mind to let it work without hesitation. I like that a lot as well… it is just very hard to let it look like… actually carefree while putting each line with an inention behind it.

Shall I get over my classical ‘who am I to judge’, I will just say that I like 7 and 9 the best.
Especially in the 9: all the curves makes me think of how restless and unceasing are the thoughts when a mind tries to form them into words.
